Question: do you think Gwen used a hair and makeup person for this event? I wonder about that. When do the celebs call in the professionals? Does another celeb's wedding or baby shower rate? Because there can be a significant difference in their appearance when a celebrity goes out without supervision. *cough* Britney! *cough* Gwen looks fairly made-up here. And who has a baby shower at night? Is Christina Aguilera Dracula? I thought those happened on Sunday afternoons around 11 AM so you can have Mimosas? Well, not the Mom. Unless you're Britney.
The shower, the first of three planned for the expectant mom, according to a source, was an intimate gathering of close friends and family.Though the singer has not confirmed the gender of her baby, there was a distinctive theme to the gifts - the color blue.
Among the presents bought from baby boutique Bel Bambini, where the singer set up her registry last month, were a blue Loved Mom Guitar shirt, a Cariboo bassinet with blue dot bedding, Trumpette Johnny's socks - and Sozo Whiz Kid wee block, meant for use when changing a baby boy's diapers.
So it's a boy. Cool. It's a little irritating that she only confirmed she was knocked up because she wanted that baby swag! No pregnancy, no first of three showers! Isn't having multiple showers something that a couple with little to no money should do to accquire more things for their baby as opposed to a heavily made-up millionairess?

Gwen and Gavin did not give L.A.M.B baby clothes for a present, they were out shopping for presents on Saturday morning.
Gwen is always made up, that's the way she is.
