A Tardy Britney Eluded Us

As we reported last night, Britney Spears' new video for "Piece of Me" is filming right underneath our damn noses (aka our office) at Social Hollywood. And per her usual work ethic, she showed up really late for the shoot. In fact, we had all tired of waiting for her dumb ass and went home. But she did show, and here's pics of her entering the facility with a wigged lookalike for the video. It's pigs in wigs all around for this venture! The video is some sort of mess about photographers stalking Britney, as a source says "The paparazzi are following [Britney], so they're dressed alike to trick them. They all go into a club to get away. One [photographer] sneaks in, but Britney, in the end, discovers him." She's a cagey one, that Ms. Spears. Sources say that Britney is "really freaked out about everything" and afraid that people will make fun of her again because her album is tanking. Let's get real, ok? Despite her hayseed on crank behavior, I like the record. She had little to do with it, but still - it's got some hot tracks on it. She should have gotten her beat ass out of the Starbuck's/Taco Bell drivethrough/gas station bathroom (choose one) and out on the road and done some promotion and maybe put some effort in! Things might have played out a little differently.
