I thought Donnie Wahlberg had a fairly successful acting career? And...well, what do the others do? Joey does theatre or something? This is sadness. Reports are saying that the New Kids On The Block, aka NKOTB, are planning a reunion tour. Someone wants to be rich like a Spice Girl. Their website is back up and asks fans to sign up for info. They broke up in 1994, after having sold 50 million albums. These people are from my area, and I feel that I should sort of support them but this could be a flaming dirigible striking the ground on a black and white newsreel of a disaster. Jonathan Knight turns 40 this year. He's the gay one who is now in real estate. Hopefully Joey will lead this pack. Jordan's decaying, and Joey's really the only slightly fresh-faced one.

I was a huge fan of New Kids...when I was 7. There's no reason for any of them to think that this little endeavor could possibly be successful.
I think Donnie is a solid actor, but other than that, they are WAY past their prime.

Um, you guys are nuts. Any real NKOTB fan is excited about this. And it will be a big tour. I know many, many people who are just over the moon about the upcoming tour.

I agree with Jules. I was a MAJOR fan of NKOTB and they broke up my senior year in high school!! My friends and I are super excited about a reunion tour.....everyone needs to remember that without NKOTB, there probably wouldn't have been an NSYNC, thus, no Justin Timberlake....they started it all!!!! (I consider New Edition the originial "Boy Band" but they didn't get as big as NKOTB)

Danny was part of the 'Totally Boyband' project on MTV UK a couple of years back. They released a single but it sank and the band split up.

The only people who can really appreciate that they are getting back together are those of us who were actually old enough to really enjoy them (what was a six year old doing at a New Kid concert anyway?). I thnk it will be very successful. They still have alot of real fans and even some newbies who have recently discovered them. I personally can't wait to see them together again and to hear their new album;p

No, I doubt very much they are in it for the money!!. The Spice Girls may have made some money in the process but all they did was release a greatest hits album and go on tour with the same material. Yeah, that's what I call a reunion. At least the NKOTB have gone back into the studio and are obviously showing that they are doing it for their love of music, Not the money.
Thing is, people moan that they are past their sell by date..would you tell your mother that she were too old to do what she enjoys. Yeah, mum..you can't live your life now coz you're 40+, you're past it!!. No you wouldn't!! get a life and move on to something else, preferably something you don't have an attitude about. Who determins you are past your prime anyway!!..narrow minded people thats who.
Anyway, I can't wait to hear the album and see the guys on tour. I haven't seen Jordan in 3 years but by god he's looking mighty fine.

I know for a fact Jon is not gay because we had one amazing night a few years back...I get chills just thinking about it...anyways I wake up...I love NKOTB and will be just as crazy about them now as I was 14 years ago!!!
